Physical Appearance

Shani is African-American with thick dark brown hair, brown eyes, and darker skin. In PollyWorld, 2 Cool At the Pocket Plaza as well as Pollyworld and on some of the doll's packaging, her hair was styled in two buns on both sides. She can have other hairstyles occasionaly

In later generations, she has it in a 60s and 70s style, typical round afro. Another style she's seen with is wearing it loose and curly but it's longer, held back with an orange headband, she wears a light purple sleeveless shirt, a lime green vest, dark purple pants, and long, shiny purple heeled boots.

Animated Series

In the new animated series, she wears glasses and her last name is Smith. Her hair is mahogany (a dark reddish-brown) and is cut in a short bob but sometimes has her natural texture. In later seasons it seems to be long enough to style into two afro puffs. In Adventures in Rio she has small box braids.
